i hope everyone staying healthy.
i usually get little sick during the seasonal changes .....

anyway a quick note to let you know about my new figure "screaming for the sunrise."

munky king and i are proud to release this special edition of new color way at this year at d-con. the edition is very small and there are only 20of them but i am very happy how hot it looks. :P

it's been really hot past couple days here in down town los angeles and i feel the summer is just around the corner.
i have been working on a painting for a friend mine for past couple weeks.
the piece is for his band's children of nova's new album cover and i can't tell you how much i'm excited about the whole project.

inner sanctum x yoskay: pottery project

hello,

i hope everyone is enjoying the nice spring weather.

i have been working with good folks at inner sanctum to produce a series of flower/plant potteries for sometime. and i'm so excited about the project that i wanted to share with everyone. i always wanted to get into product design besides vinyl toy figures.
i do enjoy seeing my characters coming into 3d but i wanted to make something that is functional at same time, something that people get to use in their daily life.

all the details are still in the air and i will post more about the project as it reaches the final products.
in a meantime here are some concept sketches and prototypes:

thanks to darren from clickforart.com i had a chance to design a tea cup and saucer for them.
since i don't work with digital media often as i used to so, it was a bit of a challenge but i'm very pleased with the outcome.

i can't believe it's already a that time of a year again....
san diego comic convention is just right around the corner!!!

and i am very excited about my new bonze colour koibito:)

also my new pin, "baburu" will be available at munky king's booth.
buburu comes in two different colours gun metal and pearl.

i'm sorry for the lack of the updates about the new release....

just one more day until the new koibito to drop: the exclusive edition from lebasse projects.

the new colour way will be released at lebasse projects in culver city.
there will be some goodies that you can pick up at the event, including the new prints (screaming for the sunrise) and postcard set from the solo show " hello and goodbye", the very first lebasse project exhibition catalog, and the brand new koibito.

i will be there from 7-10 pm for signing.

i hope you can make it to the event.

i can't believe how fast time goes by....

tomorrow is the opening for my solo show "upside of down."

i don't think i'm gonna get much of sleep tonight....

i made origami cranes from my old paper pallet and hung them around my family crest.
