i hope you got most of your xmas shopping done...

this year i had chance to be featured in a few different publications for my art.
i especially wanna thank roman and tatiana for including our picture in their book, "heroes and villains." the photograph captured pretty special time in my life and happy to see the image in such a nice book.

hello friends,

i hope everyone is settling nicely into the new season.
i can not believe the october is already here. it's been raining for few days in la, and i'm enjoying stepping outside into the rainy atmosphere. the air is fresher and night sky seems a lot more clear.

there are few exciting events taking a place this month and wanted to share with everyone.

first, my good friend audrey kawasaki is having her solo exhibition at outre gallery in australia.

also tomorrow night on the 7th, my friend nimit malavia is having a show at compound gallery in portland. also my friend martin hsu ill be exhibiting his work in the same space.



and the last but not the least, i got featured in the latest juxtapoz magazine.
this issue includes an interview from koffie, evah fan and more.

the ark project:)

few days ago i received a package from my friend dgph.

the book is called the ark project. it is published by IDN and curated by dgph.
it contains art works from over 200 artists including some of my fellow artist friends, edwin ushiro, tessar lo, jeni yang, and joao ruas.

this is going to be my very first time appearance in any zines....

Volume 8 Features: Femke Heimstra, the art of Robert Hardgrave, the gigantic wooden onslaught of Mike Rae, McBess, Esao Andrews, the maniacal Victor Castillo, Oksana Badrack, artist Barnaby Barford, and an indepth interview/ feature with cover artist Camille Rose Garcia. Plus the Unorthodox Taxidermy of Dr. Seuss, Yoksay Yamamoto, Ferris Plock, and the legendary Eyvind Earle, a Spotlight on Scott Musgrove's latest show.

hunt and gather is the new art book that i am part of.

this is still in the sample stage but so far it looks great.

the book includes works by 44 artists from around the world:

greg simkins, nathan ota, liz mcgrath, romanowski, deseo one,

and my good friend j.shea 9 and tanner goldbeck  and more.

i'm not sure about the release date....

also there will be some promotional events for the book in few cities....

i will post more about it as i find out.

nerf herder has a new album out and they chose one of my art work for their new album:)
