i wanted to share about the up-coming exhibition for the next month. giant robot will be hosting their 3rd annual exhibition "biennale 3" at japanese american national museum in downtown los angeles. thanks to ericsan for inviting me to be the part of "remix project." i got to customize one of the ugly doll and boss robot for the show. it was little tricky to do but i'm pretty happy with the out come.

i hope everyone is enjoying the spring weather.

 last week i had a chance to work on a large mural in branded arts complex in culver city. the project took me 6days to complete. special thanks to warren brand for providing me the wall and thanks to lebasse projects for providing the supplies:)

i just wanted to thank everyone that came to lebasse projects to view my show " jokes on me. . ." especially folks who drove all the way from outside of la.
and it was so nice to catch up with some of the old friends and meeting some of you for the first time.

if you missed the opening night, the show runs till 21st of april. i hope you can find a time to see the exhibition in person and say hello to my creations.

year of the dragon @ gr2

hello,

i'm participating in a group show, " year of the dragon" at gr2 this upcoming saturday.
since the theme is dragon, i chose to dedicate this piece to one of the biggest manga in my generation, "dragon ball z."
i carved out a dragon ball out of basswood and gave a bit of my own twist.
also made a little zabuton cushion for new friend.
